3. Estimating Enhancements
Our estimating functionality has leveled up this year, with significate upgrades! You can now estimate labor hours and adjust productivity rates, edit assembly inputs, sharpen your focus with saved views, organize projects with estimate scope, and see the big picture with clarity using the estimate dashboard.
4. Takeoff Tags
Use Takeoff Tags instead of Labels to group and categorize your Takeoffs by CSI, material type, scope, or any other way that makes sense — you no longer have to re-label measurements as you go. Leverage these Takeoff Tags in your Reports and Estimate Worksheet.
5. New Item & Assembly Experience
Our new Item & Assembly Libraries make using Items and Assemblies much easier to use, more accessible, and far faster than the previous experience. You can now choose which library you want to use from a drop-down menu, drag and drop items and assemblies between folders, add notes, and more. Custom libraries allow you to create the libraries you need based on your most typical work – for example, customer-specific libraries if you do a lot of work for a single client or trade-specific libraries, or even regional libraries.

1. Workflows
Workflows helps eliminate the rework caused by poor communication and data. No more tracking down old emails, trying to remember a phone conversation, or searching for texts on your phone or chats in Teams or Slack. With Workflows, you can keep track of everything in one place, no matter what your process requires. Track, assign, and review RFIs, change orders, submittals, and more.
2. Project Templates
Project templates allow you to streamline the setup of new projects. You can design multiple templates tailored to different types of projects. Using these templates reduces configuration time and ensures greater consistency across projects.
3. Procore Integration
Our integration with Procore allows you to import plans from a Procore project to a Build & Operate project, allowing you to play nice with GCs and keep your own records and data.
4. Workflows Enhancements
Our team has been hard at work making Workflows even better after its initial release this year. You can now download PDFs with plans attached, set email configurations for each of the Workflow types in the Project settings, change the status of customized Workflows in the project parameters, access History – an audit trail for each Workflow item, capture classification information for Workflow items in Additional Information, and access Workflows on the iPhone App.
5. Daily Reports for iPhone
Daily Reports are now accessible on iPhone. The STACK Build & Operate App on iPhone features all the same functions as on the iPad, although they differ slightly in appearance. Similarly to iPad, all reports will sync on the Web Portal once connected to data or wifi.
