Company Story:
Nationwide Paint Co. is a commercial painting company that paints restaurants, offices, hospitals, retail stores and other types of businesses. They strive to be the painting company of choice and be the first painting company that general contractors think of when looking for someone good and reliable to get the job done.
The company got it’s start in June 2017 when Patricia LaMontagne, Principal Partner, and her partner Shane Patton, Managing Partner, set out on their own and created a company together. After just 2 years in business, the company is thriving, looking to hire additional employees and taking a bunch of jobs!
Overcoming Challenges:
As a relatively new and growing business, Nationwide Paint Co. has had to face quite a few unique challenges. For one, they take on jobs anywhere across the country so travel and logistics are an added hurdle that most contractors don’t have to deal with. One way they have overcome this burden is by reaching out to hotel chains and rental car companies to help manage their travel needs. They also keep employees happy by making sure they aren’t away from their family for more than 2 weeks at a time, even if the jobs are longer than that.
The other big challenge Nationwide Paint Co. has faced is simply managing the company’s rapid growth. Adding additional office support staff and maintaining a healthy hiring rate have helped them continue to take on new jobs without sacrificing service!
How STACK Has Helped Nationwide Paint Co.:
When deciding which material estimating software to choose, Shane Patton, Managing Partner at Nationwide Paint Co., tried out 3 different estimating software options. One of the main reasons he selected STACK was because he found it to be the easiest to learn and use.
A few other ways that STACK shined brighter than competitors was that it included free training, something other software vendors charge extra for, and provided excellent customer support. “There is always someone online available to help me out. When I’m in the middle of an estimate and have a question, the customer success team is there to help,” says Shane Patton.
Prior to STACK, Nationwide Paint Co. could only bid on 3 jobs/week. STACK has sped up their bid process 500%, allowing them bid on up to 15 jobs/week.
